GlenLakes Golf Club is one of the premier golf courses on the Gulf Coast.  The 27-hole facility, located in Foley, Alabama, is also one of the area’s best values.

The 18-hole Vista-Dunes course offers a links-style layout which brings a touch of Scotland right here to the Gulf Coast.  The renowned achitechture team of Bruce Devlin and Robert Von Hagge designed the 6,938 yard, Par 72 layout which originally opened in 1984.  Vista-Dunes features strategic mounding, and undulating fairways and greens.  The greens were updated just a few years ago with Champion Ultra-Dwarf Bermuda, and are some of the best putting surfaces on the Gulf Coast.

The Lakes Course is a resort-style 9-hole layout measuring 3,065 yards.  The course is defined by large, forgiving fairways, but water also comes into play on six of the nine holes.  The Lake Course is a fun test of golf for players of all skill levels.

The Lakes Course also contains the area’s first “Foot Golf” course.  The relatively new sport is a mix of golf and soccer and is fun for the entire family!

If you need to sharpen your skills or just get in a few practice shots before your round, check out the excellent practice facility.  The large natural grass driving range has multiple targets if you want to test your iron game or let the big stick rip!  Chipping and putting greens are available to help you keep your short game in order.

The GlenLakes clubhouse features a full-service pro shop and the Bunker Cafe.  Make sure to get a bite to eat before or after the round, or grab a quick snack at the turn.  You really can’t go wrong with any of the menu items, but the Birdie Burger is a real favorite.

General Manager David Musial, PGA is an excellent instructor and offers lessons to every level of player.  David has been a Callaway Golf staff member since 2011.  He was selected as the Dixie Section Golf Professional of the Year in 2009 and the Junior Golf Leader of the Year in 1998.   David began teaching junior and high school golfers in 1990.  David is currently the girls golf coach at St. Luke’s High School.  Contact David at to schedule a lesson.

If you’re looking to be a part of an active golf membership, then GlenLakes just might be the place for you!  The Men’s and Ladie’s Golf Assocations have regular weekly events throughout the year. The LGA has their regular play day every Wednesday.  Also, on Wednesday evenings from 5 pm til 6 pm, the the Ladies Wine and Drive Golf Clinic is hosted by David Musial.  This is a fun way to learn how to play, improve your game, or just have a good time! Enjoy a one-hour golf lesson with a glass of wine before and one after for just $20.00.  You don’t have to be a member of GlenLakes or the Ladies Golf Association to attend.

The MGA holds regular events on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The Ladies Wine and Drive has been such a hit, that David and his staff decided that the men shouldn’t be left out.  Every Thursday from 5:15 until 6:15 you’ll have a chance to work on your game and enjoy a nice cold one before and after the clinic. Once again, you don’t have to be a member to attend.

GlenLakes offers a number of different membership options.  Plans ranging from Full Golf Membership to Working Person Membership to Social/Pool Membership are available.  Give the GlenLakes team a call and they’ll be happy to discuss the different options with you.

Membership at GlenLakes offers not just great golf, but so much more. Enjoy a dip in the pool, or spend some quality time with the family at the game park which featurs a putt-putt course, bocce ball, shuffleboard, and a grilling area.
