Callaway GBB Epic/Sub Zero
MSRP: $500.00

The “Club of the Year” in 2017! Callaway hyped the Epic as something special and they delivered. Flexible faces have been all the rage for some time, but Callaway has taken the technology to another level. “Jailbreak” technology is Callaway’s term for two bars inside the head from crown to sole which add stability to the face. The additional stability allows for a face which is 20% thinner than anything Callaway offered last year and also allows the face to flex across a wider area. The results are increased ball speed on all shots! The frame is titanium and the carbon composite crown and sole panels are extremely light. The standard version has a sliding rear weight to adjust for hooks and slices. The Sub Zero has two weights to optimize ball spin. If you haven’t tried the Callaway GBB Epic, then do yourself a favor and hit one soon!

TaylorMade M1
MSRP: $500.00
Great deal of adjustability with 5,800 setting combinations. Carbon composite in the crown and in half of the sole moves the weight lower and deeper so mis-hits don’t lose much speed.

TaylorMade M2
MSRP: $400.00
Carbon composite crown saves weight which is redistributed to keep the CG low. Slot behind the face allows for flexibility and high ball speeds. Lots of pop and very forgiving!

Cobra King F7/F7+
MSRP: $350.00/$400.00
Both models have lots of adjustability and built in technology. The F7 is larger and offers lofts from 9 to 12 degrees. The more compact F7+ plays from 8 to 11 degrees. Adustable weights in the sole also increase or decrease trajectory as needed and allow the player to tweak directional ball flight.
